We take our curriculum on the road and provide hands-on learning opportunities to support what the students learn in school. Most field trips are local, however at times there may be an interstate or international trip for older students. Due to cost they are never mandatory but we always hope that students will have the opportunity to participate.
We believe students should learn to be responsible for their classroom and environment and as a result students are required to participate in daily chores. This also helps teach children to look after their space and take pride in their work environment. Hopefully this will also translate to home!
Houses encourage healthy interaction between students within and across grade levels, across cultures and interests, through the shared experience of House membership. We currently have two houses: House of Griffin and House of Phoenix.
