International Baccalaureate Diploma: 11th-12th grade

hours: 8.30 a.m. - 3.30 p.m.

Building upon our earlier programs, Cunae offers the prestigious IB Diploma. This program focuses on developing the critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, communication, and collaborative skills of students to an exceptionally high level. The rigorous two-year course prepares students for both college and the wider world. The IB Diploma opens doors for students, giving them greater university acceptance both locally and globally. Academic ability often governs a student’s success in this program. However, a strong work ethic and a positive attitude are sometimes greater predictors of success, making this program within reach of many students.

Although the IB Diploma is seen as rigorous, we do accommodate the varied needs and learning styles of our students. While every student participates in the programme, there are 3 graduation options that they can work towards:

  1. High School Diploma

  2. High School Diploma and IB Certificate Subjects

  3. High School Diploma and full IB Diploma

Many benefits have been associated with participating in the IB course but we know that not all students will want to endure its rigour so we customize the programme as part of each students personalized learning plan. Ultimately our goal is to put your child on the path that is best for them. This is discussed as a team between administrators, teachers, parents and student.
